Chico Breast Care Center has resumed Screening Mammograms for patients at low risk for COVID-19 with your safety in mind.
Enhanced Safety Precautions
- screening all patients and staff upon arrival/check-in
- temperature check of patients upon arrival
- limiting the number of patients in the clinic at one time
- thoroughly disinfecting each exam room between patients
- personal protective equipment (PPE) for our staff
Screening Patients & Guests
We will be screening each patient at the time of scheduling and again upon arrival at the clinic, checking for signs of illness or exposure to anyone who has been sick in the past two weeks. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, or have been exposed to anyone who has had any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days, please stay home and contact us to reschedule your appointment:
- Fever (greater than 99.6)
- Respiratory symptoms including cough or shortness of breath
- Muscle aches or headache
Face Masks
In compliance with state guidelines for essential businesses, all team members and visitors will be required to wear a mask or face covering when entering our facility.
Social Distancing
We have decreased our volume for certain exams to limit the number of patients in the waiting area at one time and will promote social distancing as much as possible. We ask that you not bring anyone else to the appointment or ask them to wait in the car. If your circumstances require assistance, your caretaker will be screened in the same way as you are.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Our staff is thoroughly disinfecting exam rooms, dressing rooms, high-touch areas and equipment between patients, as well as practicing good hand hygiene.
Schedule Your Mammogram
If your mammogram was canceled due to COVID-19, it is very important for you to reschedule as soon as possible. Mammography detects breast cancer early, when it is most treatable. A mammogram could save your life.
Thank you for your continued trust in Chico Breast Care Center. If you have questions about our enhanced safety precautions, or if you would like to schedule an appointment, please call us at (530) 898-0502.
